Field Connectivity Leader

The US Field Connectivity Leader will be a critical resource assigned to lead remote connectivity opportunities in the US from first visibility through completeness.  Their target list/install base will primarily be for our install base clients who did not get this value add established during the original installation and ensure connectivity for all new customers that are going through an active installation.   The main function will be to understand root cause or bottlenecks in the path to remote connectivity, find the right client resource to influence, highlight the need to establish connectivity in near term and work with all stakeholders to get system online.  This role will need to be able to influence both internal and external teams, be able to have technical IT / network design conversations, stay active in multiple projects in parallel and provide key client feedback to our US and HQ teams.    

 

What you will be doing: 

This employee will be required to work cross-functionally with client leadership and their IT along with our service, commercial, implementation and R&D teams.  Covering all of the US, this resource will need to have strong technical and network design skills, organizational skills related to managing IT projects and an ability to network with our internal teams to leverage and establish key contacts within internal and external teams.  Significant improvement of our current connectivity in install base and driving outcomes within existing accounts will be critical to the success of this role. 

  • Provide post-sale Cybersecurity/IT input to customers on our target list.
  • Lead, establish and maintain customers remote support configuration.
  • Analyze customer requirements and illustrate how company solutions can provide value and support their organization.
  • Work close with our applications and service teams to prioritize key accounts to get online with remote connectivity solutions.
  • Provide feedback to development and other groups as needed.
  • Create, improve, and maintain connectivity dashboards with current status, root cause of defect, key contacts and sponsors, action plans and estimated timing of resolution.
  • Understand specific client systems/equipment requirements in order to work with and speak the same language of the client’s technical team.
  • Provide training and support to our field teams as they navigate our client sites and are able to impact our connectivity statuses.
  • Create guidelines and process for our post-installation install base to ensure connectivity remains online and maintenance is proactive and documented.
  • Influence client teams to remove roadblocks and look at all options available.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience at IT System Administration.
  • Networking (CCNA/CCNP) knowledge and experience.
  • Deep hands-on knowledge and experience with IT systems.
  • Solid understanding of network security firewalls.
  • Bachelor’s degree or combination of comparable education and experience.
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time.
  • Good understanding and experience working for an OEM or medical field service organization.
  • Deep understanding and experience working with hospital IT, leadership and clinical teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional work environment and influence without authority.
  • Self-driven individual with strong organizational skills, ability to work remotely and handle complex/multiple projects simultaneously.
  • High customer awareness with focus on proactive communication and updates.
  • Ability to work on our clients’ schedules for all US time zones.
