  • GE Healthcare

    Insightec was founded in 1999 by GE Healthcare and Elbit Medical Imaging to bring MRI-guided focused ultrasound to the market. The Exablate Neuro and Exablate Body systems work with a range of GE’s MR systems to treat Essential Tremor, Tremor-dominant Parkinson’s Disease, symptomatic uterine fibroids and pain palliation of bone metastases.


    In May 2016, Insightec signed a strategic agreement with Siemens Healthineers.

    The collaboration involves the development of compatibility between Exablate Neuro for treating essential tremor and Siemens’ leading clinical MRI systems.
