About The Job

Responsibilities include supporting the employee lifecycle and delivering organizational and people initiatives in support of HR strategic objectives. Leading assigned projects and driving HR operational excellence.

About You

-    You steward employees and managers through the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding, including new hire setups, initiation, and collection of New Hire Paperwork, conducting new hire orientation, e-verify, exit interviews, managing compensation reviews, training compliance reporting, etc.

-    You provide support and counsel on HR policies as necessary; ensures fair and consistent application of company policies, procedures, federal and state laws. Escalates areas of concern to HRBP

-    You apply knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations concerning employment. You maintain accurate employee records and data and complies reports and analysis as needed

-    You actively participate with leadership. You identify issues impacting employee engagement

-    You support team to resolve employee relations and performance issues. You attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, investigations, and terminations

-    You support performance management lifecycle including technical support. Serve as the HR partner and provide consultation and support to managers and employees

-    Support company sponsored and employee engagement activities/events (L&D, Workshops, Leadership Initiatives, Global Health Month, Job Fairs) 

-    Provide a  high-touch on-boarding employee experience 
-    Support annual Benefits Open Enrollment and administering Leave of Absence  
-    Maintain HR records (digital/electronic and paper files) including employment files, job descriptions, and PHI 
-    Responsible for processing HRIS employee transactions  

Qualifications/Requirements

  • AS degree or HR Certification with minimum 3-5 years experience as HR Generalist
  • Experience working with HRIS, I9 verifications, reporting/data tools
  • Medical device, biomedical, or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
  • Recruiting, interviewing, selection experience a strong plus
  • Experience in employee relations, ADA, FLSA, FMLA, EEO, and other general employment laws preferred
  • Able to support multiple initiatives, processes and tasks with high professional standards and drive outstanding operational execution
