• Celeste Dauner

  Celeste Dauner

  Celeste is a Managing Director at Koch Disruptive Technologies (KDT). Since joining KDT in 2018, she has led diligence for investments across multiple investment themes, including healthcare, and is a board member for several portfolio companies. Prior to joining KDT, Celeste spent 10 years at Flint Hills Resources, Koch’s refining business, where she held several finance and corporate strategy roles. Celeste holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Oklahoma State University.

• Frederic Moll

  Frederic Moll

  Dr. Moll is a medical device developer considered a forerunner in the field of medical robotics, co-founding Intuitive Surgical in 1995, and becoming Founder and CEO of Hansen Medical in 2002. In 2007, Dr. Moll co-founded Auris Health and then joined Johnson & Johnson as Chief Development Officer when J&J acquired Auris in 2019. He also serves on the Board of RefleXion, and he served on the Board of MAKO Surgical Corp., until its sale to Stryker in 2013. Dr. Moll holds a BA from University of California at Berkeley, an MS in Business Management from Stanford University, and an MD from the University of Washington.

• Jeremy Blank

  Jeremy Blank

  Mr. Blank is the Founder and CEO of Community Fund, a global investment firm, and he served as a Partner of York Capital Management from 2005 to 2020. Prior to joining York, Mr. Blank was an investment banker and a VP in Morgan Stanley’s Fixed Income Department. He holds an AA in Bible and a BS in Finance from Yeshiva University.

• Kobi Vortman

  Kobi Vortman

  Jacob “Kobi” Vortman is INSIGHTEC’s Vice Chairman of the Board. Kobi founded the company in 1999 and under his leadership, INSIGHTEC has been developing and marketing its Magnetic Resonance guided Focused Ultrasound (MRgFUS) technology.

  Prior to founding INSIGHTEC, Kobi served as President of Elbit Medical Imaging where he was responsible for the development of the proprietary MRgFUS technology that was passed to INSIGHTEC when it was established as a joint effort with Elbit Medical Imaging and GE Healthcare (formerly GE Medical Systems). GE Healthcare remains a shareholder of the company until today. Previously Kobi served as President and Chief Executive Officer at Diasonics Vingmed Ultrasound and as General Manager at ElscinTEC. Twenty years prior, he worked with RAFAEL, holding many positions, including marketing, business development, operations and engineering roles.

  Kobi Vortman received his PhD in Electro Optics and a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa. He also received a BSc in Physics and Mathematics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

• Maurice R. Ferré

  Maurice R. Ferré

  Maurice R. Ferré MD is CEO and the Chairman of the Board of Directors at INSIGHTEC, the innovator of incisionless surgery. Dr. Ferré brings over 20 years of experience as a serial entrepreneur in the medical technology industry.

  Prior to INSIGHTEC, Ferré served as CEO and Chairman of the Board of MAKO Surgical Corp., a transformational robotic surgical company that he co-founded. The company was acquired by Stryker Corp. for $1.65 billion in 2013. Prior to MAKO Surgical Corp., Ferré was Founder, CEO and President of Visualization Technology Inc. (VTI). VTI became the world leader in image-guided surgery with a navigation platform for ENT and was acquired by GE Healthcare in 2002.

  Dr. Ferré received his Doctor of Medicine and Master of Public Health from Boston University in 1992. He was the recipient of the prestigious EY Entrepreneur Of The Year® Florida in 2020 and 2007, and was awarded BioFlorida’s Lifetime Achievement Award in 2018.

  Dr. Ferré is a member of the Board of Trustees for Boston University and is also active on the boards of The Everglades Foundation and Endeavor Miami.

• Michael Stansky

  Michael Stansky

  Mr.Stansky was a Managing Director of Tudor Investment Corporation where he was responsible for long/short equity, crossover, and venture capital investments. He helped establish Tudor’s equity investment group in 1994 and retired from active investment management in 2008. From 1985 to 1994, Mr. Stansky was an analyst and portfolio manager at Wellington Management Company. Past board directorships include OrthoSensor, MAKO Surgical Corp., and TransMedics, Inc. He has Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Financial Analyst designations. Mr. Stansky holds a B.A. in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts and a M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

• Omar Ishrak

  Omar Ishrak

  Dr. Ishrak is the former Chairman and CEO of Medtronic and the current Chairman of the Board of Intel Corporation. Prior to joining Medtronic in 2011, Dr. Ishrak served as the President and CEO of three GE Healthcare divisions– Systems, Clinical Systems, and Ultrasound and BMD, between 1995 and 2011. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Asia Society and serves as a senior advisor to Blackstone Life Sciences. Dr. Ishrak is an inductee in the American Institute for Medical and Biological College of Fellows, the Bakken Society, and the National Academy of Engineering, and is a Fellow of King’s College of London. He holds a BS and a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from King’s College London.

• Elie Brender

  Elie is CEO and co-founder of Exigent Capital, a diversified financial services firm providing family office, special situation investing and strategic advisory services. Elie provides intellectual and strategic leadership to the firm and manages relationships with the firm’s largest investors and stakeholders. He has more than 25 years of executive experience as CEO, chairman and board member of for-profit and not-for-profit entities. He is fluent and experienced in a range of investing strategies including liquid products, private equity, venture, and credit. Elie began his career at JP Morgan Chase and is an avid student of history, philosophy, and science.

• Kevin Reilly

  Kevin Reilly joined Ally Bridge Group in 2021 and is a Managing Director, Head of Medtech, for the private equity strategy focused on transactions across healthcare subsectors. Before joining Ally Bridge Group, Kevin was a Principal at CRG, a healthcare investment management firm providing growth capital to companies through the form of long-term debt and equity. Kevin began his career in the Healthcare Investment Banking Group at Stifel. Kevin holds a BS in Finance and Information Systems from the University of Maryland.

• Jon Lundt

  Jon is a Principal at Nexus NeuroTech Ventures where he focuses on medical devices, research tools, diagnostics, and services. Before joining Nexus, Jon was a Senior Associate at RA Capital Management and a VentureLabs Fellow at Flagship Pioneering. He earned a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Michigan where he conducted research on histotripsy, a novel noninvasive ablation technique that uses high-amplitude focused ultrasound pulses to homogenize unwanted soft tissue targets into an acellular slurry via acoustic cavitation.
