Manufacturing Engineering Projects Manager
What you will be doing:
- Leading Operations complex projects such as production lines establishment, production transfer to multi-level suppliers’ tiers, Suppliers sourcing and qualification, cost reduction, etc.
- Manage projects from all aspects – ECO, engineering, technology, budget, efficiency, problems solving, meeting milestones, delivery. Close work with procurement teams on business and contracts projects aspects.
- Collaboration with Supply Chain, R&D, QA, RA and other teams per project’s needs.
- Ability to report periodically to C-level management.
- Ability to lead Operations ECOs, from initiation thru all CCB steps, till releasing and implementation.
- Execute BOM cost reduction and process improvements projects improving Operations efficiency and gross margins.
- Supporting Operations suppliers engineering, assuring suppliers ECOs implementation and SCR process.
- Controlling manufacturing work instructions maintenance - new/ update/ Insightec format
- Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops.
- Perform in-depth analysis of operational data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvements.
What you have:
- BSc. or higher degree – Material/Process/Mechanical Engineering.
- 5-8 years’ experience as complex engineering projects manager, including production transfer.
- 3-5 years’ hands-on experience as manufacturing engineer.
- Passion for Supply chain operations, cost reduction activities and processes improvements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Experience with suppliers and subcontractors engineering support.
- Experience with CAD or CAM software.
- Must be organized, attentive to detail, and flexible with changing priorities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of GMP, ISO, and FDA regulations specific to the medical device. Experience with FDA/CE supply chain audits.
